Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Solvera Security app for iPhone (the "App") and this website handle, and why. The App was previously called Forteya Security App. Renaming it did not change how it handles data.
In short: the App has no accounts and shows no ads. Wi-Fi Security does not log your activity. An email address you add to Identity Monitoring is kept on your iPhone and passes through our server only to be checked. Passwords never leave your device. The App uses AppsFlyer and Firebase to measure installs, understand how the App is used and fix crashes.
1. Who we are
The App and this website are operated by ERODIOS DOO, Partizanski Put 78, Vranje, Serbia ("we", "us", "our"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@forteya-security.com.
2. What the App does not collect
- The App has no registration or login. We never ask for your name, phone number or an account password.
- The App shows no ads, does not access Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not ask for permission to track you. We do not combine data from the App with data from other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not receive your browsing history, the content of your messages or your contacts.
3. Wi-Fi Security
Wi-Fi Security is a VPN connection. When you turn it on, the App connects to a server it picks for you, and your internet traffic travels to that server through an encrypted tunnel. Our servers do not log:
- the websites you visit or the apps you use while connected;
- the content of your traffic;
- your DNS requests;
- your real IP address, connection times or session history in a way that can be linked to you.
The IP address, country and connection time you see on the Wi-Fi Security screen are shown in the App only and are not saved by us.
4. Identity Monitoring
When you add an email address, the App saves it on your iPhone. To check it, the App sends the address over an encrypted connection to our server, which looks it up in databases of publicly known data breaches and sends back the result. Our server does not store the address or the result.
From time to time the App repeats the check on its own. If the address turns up in a new breach, the App shows a notification on your iPhone. The address is kept only on your device and is removed when you delete the App.
5. Features that work on your device
- Password Safety rates the strength of a password on your iPhone. The password is not sent to us or anyone else and is not saved.
- WebShield and AdBlock block web addresses that appear on filter lists. They do not record the pages you open, and we do not receive your browsing history.
- SMS Filter. For texts from senders who are not in your contacts, iOS lets the filter see the sender and the message so it can decide whether the text is unwanted. The filter does not keep your messages, and we do not store them. Texts from your contacts are never passed to the filter.
- Setup checklist. The checklist reads basic settings on your iPhone, such as which of the App's protections are turned on. The results stay on your device.
- Notifications, such as Identity Monitoring alerts, are created by the App on your iPhone. We do not use a push notification service. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
6. Analytics, attribution and crash reports
The App contains three third-party services. None of them receives the email address you add to Identity Monitoring, your passwords, your messages or your browsing activity.
- AppsFlyer (install attribution). When the App is opened, the AppsFlyer SDK sends technical data such as the identifier for vendor (IDFV), IP address, device model, iOS version and App version, together with App events such as installs, opens and purchases. We use it to see which of our marketing campaigns lead to installs and subscriptions. The App does not give AppsFlyer the advertising identifier, and campaign attribution relies on Apple's SKAdNetwork. AppsFlyer's policy: appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Google Firebase Analytics records how the App is used, such as screens opened, features used and in-app purchases, together with a random app instance identifier, device model, iOS version and an approximate location (country or city) derived from your IP address. We use it to understand which features people use and to improve the App.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics. If the App crashes, it sends a report with technical details such as the device model, iOS version, App version, a random installation identifier and the state of the App at the moment of the crash. We use these reports only to find and fix bugs.
Google's information about Firebase: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. We never see your card details. Apple tells the App whether you have an active subscription so that paid features can be unlocked.
8. Emails to support
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and do not add you to any mailing list.
9. Who receives data
- AppsFlyer receives the attribution data described in section 6.
- Google receives analytics data and crash reports through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
- Our server hosting providers run the servers behind Wi-Fi Security and Identity Monitoring and process traffic and requests only to provide those features.
- Apple processes your purchase and subscription.
These providers act on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose information to authorities only when the law requires it. Because we keep no record of your Wi-Fi Security activity, there is none to disclose. Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and Israel, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Legal bases
Under the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation, we process data:
- to provide the features you ask for, such as an Identity Monitoring check, a Wi-Fi Security connection or a reply to your email (performance of a contract);
- to keep the App working through crash reports, to understand how the App is used and to measure our marketing campaigns (our legitimate interests in a stable, improving app and in knowing which campaigns work). You can object to this at any time, see section 12.
11. How long we keep data
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- Analytics and attribution data: only as long as needed for the purposes in section 6, within the retention settings of Firebase and AppsFlyer.
- Identity Monitoring addresses and results: not stored on our servers.
- Wi-Fi Security activity: not logged.
- Support emails: only as long as needed to resolve your request.
12. Your choices
- To object to analytics and attribution, or to have the analytics data tied to your device deleted, email privacy@forteya-security.com. We will pass the request on to AppsFlyer and Google.
- Deleting the App removes the email address saved for Identity Monitoring and resets the App's analytics identifiers.
- You can turn off notifications from the App in iOS Settings.
13. Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email privacy@forteya-security.com. You can also complain to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia (poverenik.rs) or to the data protection authority of the EU or UK country where you live.
14. Children
The App is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
15. Security
Wi-Fi Security traffic, Identity Monitoring requests and the data sent to our service providers are encrypted in transit. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect our servers and the limited information we handle.
16. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising tags, and it loads all of its files, including fonts, from its own domain. It is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to serve the pages and protect the site from abuse.
17. Changes to this policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
